Hey guys, I hope your last week before winter break is going well!
(I've been on winter break since summer, haha!)
Anyway, I was just thinking that I should've shared a prayer request last Friday at the meeting, so here it is.
I want to work in Northern VA/DC area.
I used to pray that I'll get a job anywhere God would lead me to, and I believe God led me to you guys so I want to pray specifically for a job in the area.
Ever since Pastor Jay's wedding you guys have been on my heart, and I've shared a lot about that with Joe and Josh. For quite some time before the wedding Joe had been asking me to move up and help out with the youth group, but I was hesitant because of my past negative experience in my youth group years. However; in spending that weekend and the following weekends with you guys I felt very connected to you guys as if God led me. And I pray that God would give me an opportunity to pour out to you guys what I wish I'd received in my past.
I've been looking for jobs there and applied for a couple but still no luck.
I had an interview with local TV station today, and I turned it down.
I'm going to a JMU alumni job fair at the Marriott in Tysons on the first weekend of January. Please pray for me as I continue to search for a job in the area.
Traveling up and down every weekend takes a lot on me, and it'd be good if I find a job in Northern VA/DC and live around the area so I will be closer to you guys.

p.s. I took the picture today on the way back from the interview. I saw a random truck at a gas station, and I had to take a picture of it.
Oh yeah, the skit video looks pretty decent so far, you guys did a good job! Let's finish this baby up strong on Saturday! >:)
